[SecurityNews, Reporter Han, Se-hee] Cyberdigm, Korea’s leader in Document Centralization Solution, will again participate in 'ISEC 2026' (the 20th International Security Conference), taking place at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, August 11 to Wednesday, August 12. Cyberdigm will also hold a keynote session presenting "Strategy for AI Era: Building 'Safe AI' through Document Centralization."

At an upcoming keynote session, Cyberdigm will highlight that when corporate data is scattered across personal PCs, shared folders, messengers, email, and USB drives, security controls are difficult to properly enforce. In environments where it's impossible to track who accessed which document and when, the effectiveness of security solutions gets naturally limited.

While majority thinks that risks come from external threats, National Police Agency data indicates that insiders were responsible for 88.3% of the 665 industrial technology leaks detected over the past six years. Employees with authorized access move work documents onto personal PCs and out through USB drives, cloud storage, or messengers - not just when they're leaving the company, but as part of daily work.

Generative AI has widened this exposure. In a Splunk survey, CISOs across the industry pointed to AI-driven data leakage as their biggest concern. Once an employee pastes confidential files or source code into an AI tool looking for a better answer, that data is effectively out of the company's hands. More recently, "Shadow AI" — employees using AI tools on their own, without company approval or oversight — has been spreading as well.

The solution Cyberdigm presents is to remove the possibility of data leakage by design. Unlike conventional approaches, document centralization solution keeps data and assets on a central server under unified security policy, giving companies control over the entire data lifecycle — from creation to storage, sharing, and export.

Specifically, this means all documents employees create get stored at a central server rather than  local PCs, with access limited to authorized users based on department, position, and role. Files are shared as links rather than originals, and any external export requires approval, retention periods, usage caps and ability to recall access. Full document lifecycle from creation, storage, search, and utilization to distribution and disposal is governed by policy. Unusual access patterns, bulk downloads and activities during abnormal hours are detected in real time for immediate response. As Cyberdigm puts it: "Security starts with data under control."

'Secure AI Data Platform' That Never Lets Data Leave

Assets under proper control this way become the foundation for trustworthy AI use. Cyberdigm's Document Centralization Solution provides its internal function called 'AI Assistant' that extracts, searches and summarizes key information based on documents stored at central server — but it's designed to respond only with information that users are already authorized to access for each document. Key point is that by connecting only verified, secure assets to AI, companies can build a trustworthy 'AI Data Platform' without exporting data outside the organization.

This also aligns with the broader shift towards 'private AI,' where data never leaves the corporate’s internal network. During the session, Cyberdigm will share real customer case studies of companies that link assets secured through document centralization with internal AI for actual business use.

Upcoming session's core message — that blocking threats proactively is the most realistic path to using AI safely — closely aligns with the direction of ISEC 2026 itself, which focuses on "The Future of Autonomous Security, Realized Through AI."

A Cyberdigm representative stated, "'Where and how you manage your data' is becoming an increasingly critical question. Through real customer cases, this session will show that bringing scattered assets together under central control — governing how data moves and where it can go — is the clearest starting point for autonomous security in the AI era."

Along with keynote session, Cyberdigm will also hold an exhibition booth, where visitors can see how the security strategy presented during the session is implemented through its two flagship solutions. 'DestinyECM' is an on-premise Document Centralization Solution that can be flexibly customized to fit clients’ infrastructures. 'cloudium' is available in multiple forms — an integrated hardware-software package, cloud-based subscription model, and hybrid of the two — allowing companies to adopt it quickly without a heavy upfront cost.

Cyberdigm has built 28 years of expertise in unstructured data management with accumulated 1,400 clients. It holds No. 1 position in Korea for Document Centralization solution, both in revenues and number of clients.

Meanwhile, ISEC 2026 (the 20th International Security Conference) — Korea's leading cybersecurity conference and now the largest of its kind in Asia — will take place over two days from August 11th to 12th at COEX Seoul. This year's theme, "The Future of Autonomous Security, Realized Through AI," reflects the shift that AI agents have brought beyond simple automation towards genuine autonomy, and the event will expand in scale from last year across COEX's Exhibition Hall D, the Auditorium (3F), and the ASEM Ballroom (2F). In 2026, the conference will feature 20 tracks and 100 sessions, along with some 170 solution exhibition booths from about 150 cybersecurity companies.

Additionally, ISEC 2026 will continue to enhance the quality of its programs through various initiatives, including the ISEC 2026 Best Speaker Awards, which recognize outstanding speakers selected through attendee voting, surveys and video evaluations, as well as training courses co-hosted with KAIST Cyber Security Research Center, designed to help participants master cyberattack response techniques through hands-on practice and apply them to security operations.
