"Document centralization solves exactly this problem. The moment you gather scattered documents into one place, that repository becomes both an object of security control and a trustworthy, single knowledge hub for AI to reference. 'Leak prevention' and a 'foundation for AI utilization' are satisfied simultaneously within a single structure."
The technological direction of the document security industry can be broadly categorized into five areas: ① RAG-based enterprise knowledge search, ② Permission-Aware Retrieval, ③ on-premises sLLM / Private AI, ④ refinement and assetization of unstructured data, and ⑤ data governance, including sensitive-information identification, masking, and DSPM. “Although vendors may differ in their entry points, they are all moving toward the same objective: enabling AI to utilize distributed documents while maintaining permissions and governance,” Kang explained. “Cyberdigm is also focused on making document centralization the foundation for AI utilization within this broader industry trend.”

CTO Kang explained, "Corporate documents are a mix of old files, multiple versions, and sensitive materials, so finding the exact information you need was difficult in itself," adding, “Because processing entire document repositories with AI presents both cost and performance limitations, we adopted an approach that first defines document scopes according to business objectives. AI then analyzes document structure and context within those defined scopes to perform searches more effectively.”
Organizations that already have their own AI models can connect them via an Open Interface, allowing them to use the solution without redundant investment. In 2026, Cyberdigm plans to expand the AI Assistant with additional capabilities, including automated document classification, document structure-based similar document search, and automatic generation of summary reports based on document content. “Documents owned by companies and public institutions contain many different types of data,” Kang said. “They range from legacy documents to files containing sensitive information. Because these datasets are largely unstructured, finding exactly the information users need has always been extremely difficult. Drawing on 28 years of expertise focused on document security, Cyberdigm has developed the capability not only to classify and organize these documents, but also to enable their secure and effective utilization.”
