Q. Hello! Please introduce yourselves briefly.

Hyunmin Jung: Hello. I'm Hyunmin Jung, a new engineer in the Technical Support Team, nearing five months since I joined. My major was not in CS, nor was it related to programming, but I stepped into the IT industry to pursue a new goal.

Dayoung Jung: Hello. I am Dayoung Jung from the Technical Support Team.

Q. How did you join Cyberdigm?

Hyunmin Jung: I aimed to become a specialist in a company with well-established solutions. When I saw Cyberdigm’s job posting, I was drawn to its reputation as a leading company in document centralization solutions and decided to apply.

Dayoung Jung: Previously, I worked in a field unrelated to IT. I felt the need for a new challenge and completed a government-supported training program. Through the training institute, I learned about Cyberdigm. After passing a coding test and interview, I realized that Cyberdigm had a clear vision for the kind of talent they wanted, which led me to join the company.

Q. Do you remember your first impression when you joined Cyberdigm? How was it?

Hyunmin Jung: Contrary to my expectations before joining, when faced with challenging tasks, the senior members proactively helped and supported me, which greatly aided my adaptation to the company. The Technical Support Team has a strong culture of mutual assistance, making my work life very fulfilling.

Dayoung Jung: In the early days, the new employee training curriculum was well-structured, and I remember being deeply immersed in learning and practicing the provided educational content. Whenever I encountered difficulties or had questions, the senior members generously shared valuable tips and knowledge, which was very helpful.

Q. What kind of work does the Technical Support Team mainly handle?

Hyunmin Jung: We support customers using Cyberdigm's products with additional development and troubleshooting. Identifying the cause of issues and responding quickly to customers' situations are fundamental responsibilities of the Technical Support Team.

Dayoung Jung: Our team handles maintenance work for the solutions used by our clients. The Technical Support Center receives various inquiries, ranging from simple functionality questions to issues requiring server work. Since each client has different custom features and environments, we respond appropriately to each situation.

Q.Have you encountered any difficulties in your work?

Hyunmin Jung: Given the nature of the Technical Support Team, we sometimes need to perform tasks after our clients' working hours. During my first night shift, an error occurred, and I felt anxious before the second attempt. However, with the support of a team member who stayed with me until the end, I managed to successfully complete the task.

Dayoung Jung: For me, communication with customers is the most challenging. Explaining the UI displayed on the PC screen and the internal workings of the code in a way that customers can understand can be difficult, leading to some stumbling. Nonetheless, my team members always assist me, for which I am very grateful.

Q. On the other hand, when have you felt the most rewarded in your work?

Hyunmin Jung: I feel rewarded when I can handle the same error more quickly based on past experience. If a task that took four hours yesterday takes only one hour today, I feel I am growing.

Dayoung Jung: Initially, I couldn’t make sense of the log content, but as I became more familiar with the document centralization solution’s process, I found myself reading logs easily. Seeing myself adapt to my tasks makes me proud.

Q. Can you share any memorable episodes or experiences while working?

Hyunmin Jung: I fondly remember the early days when I gathered with my peers in the cafeteria for practice. Working in a free and comfortable atmosphere, helping each other, has left a good memory. I hope new employees also make the most of those moments to quickly bond with each other.

Dayoung Jung: My first server task after joining is most memorable. I worked on enhancing compatibility between the document centralization solution ECM and the client’s programs. Testing the custom features and resolving issues while communicating with the client was initially challenging, but it gave me broad experience.

Q. What are the strengths of Cyberdigm’s solutions?

Hyunmin Jung: The document centralization solution excels in document integration, security, collaboration, and efficiency. I would like to emphasize document integration. Storing documents in one place allows company materials to be accessed anytime, anywhere, maximizing work efficiency regardless of time or location.

Dayoung Jung: I think of it as a "customer-tailored solution." Beyond the basic features provided, it allows adding or modifying features as per client needs and provides corresponding technical support, which is a significant advantage.

Q. What do you hope to achieve at Cyberdigm in the future?

Hyunmin Jung: My goal is to become an engineer that clients trust and request. I believe the moment my skills and reliability are proven will be when clients seek me out.

Dayoung Jung: With many outstanding seniors in our department, I have much to learn and realize my shortcomings. I aspire to become a proud junior who doesn't fall short of my seniors and, more ambitiously, aim to become an all-round problem solver.

Q. We’re curious about the chemistry among the four of you! What do your colleagues mean to you?

Hyunmin Jung: Having three peers in the team is a blessing. Even though we started from the same point, we handle different areas of work, complementing each other. It's reassuring to have peers to rely on and share concerns with.

Dayoung Jung: Having been together since the day we joined, undergoing training and practice, we now feel like solid presences just by being in the same office. It feels empty if even one of the four of us is absent.

Q. Please share some tips and words of encouragement for those hoping to join the Technical Support Team.

Hyunmin Jung: If you are interested in document centralization solutions, joining Cyberdigm will be very beneficial. As I mentioned, while technical skills are important, communication skills are crucial in the Technical Support Team. Effective communication with clients can expedite work, so highlighting this ability would be advantageous.

Dayoung Jung: The basics are really important! It's not enough to underline that three times. While solving coding problems is good, understanding the principles behind your code and broadly learning the fundamental knowledge will be helpful. Go for it!

Q. The interview is coming to an end... Any final words?

Hyunmin Jung: I will strive to become someone who not only works hard but also excels. Let's all do our best!

Dayoung Jung: It feels like just yesterday I joined, but it’s already been five months. This shows how well the company atmosphere and work environment are established and how wonderful my colleagues are. I will work harder so others can feel the gratitude I feel. Thank you.
